Why Choose a Home Environment?
After years of teaching in busy public facilities, our founder noticed a clear pattern: children learn to swim much faster at home. Large commercial swim schools can be noisy and difficult to concentrate in, often overwhelming young learners with splashing squads and echoing whistles. By moving the lessons to a non-swim school environment, we remove those distractions. In the quiet of your own pool, your child receives 100% of the instructor's attention, leading to rapid progress and much stronger water safety skills.

1. Why choose home lessons over a commercial swim school?
Commercial centres like Ryde or Willoughby are excellent facilities, but they can be incredibly noisy and distracting for many children. At home, your child has 100% of the teacher's focus in a calm environment. We’ve found that without the "background noise," children often learn in one term what might take three terms in a busy public class.
2. What qualifications do your instructors hold?
Safety and expertise are our top priorities. Our founder has held an AUSTSWIM certification consistently for over 25 years. All our instructors are fully insured, hold current CPR/First Aid qualifications, and have verified Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
3. Do I need a heated pool?
For the best learning experience, especially for toddlers and preschoolers, a pool temperature of 27°C to 30°C is ideal. If your pool is unheated, we usually recommend lessons during the warmer months (October to April) to ensure your child stays comfortable and focused on their technique.
4. What happens if it rains?
We swim in the rain! As long as the water is warm and there is no lightning or heavy storms, the lesson will go ahead. If weather conditions are unsafe, we will contact you at least one hour before the lesson to reschedule.
5. Do you accept Active Kids or First Lap vouchers?
As a boutique mobile service, we do not currently accept vouchers. We focus on providing a premium, 1-on-1 experience that prioritizes rapid progress and convenience, which is why we choose to remain independent of the voucher system.
6. How many children can be in one lesson?
To maintain the "Aqua Whisperer" quality, we focus on 1-on-1 private lessons. However, if you have siblings of a similar swimming level, we can discuss small semi-private sessions. Most families prefer to book a 60-minute block and split it into two 30-minute 1-on-1 sessions back-to-back.
7. Which areas of Sydney do you travel to?
Our primary service areas include Lane Cove, Willoughby, Ryde, Chatswood, and the North Shore. We also service parts of the Northern Beaches and Inner West. Please note that travel surcharges may apply for suburbs further than 20km from our central hub.
