Level 1: Toddler Foundations

Age Group: 18 Months – 3 Years Focus: Water Confidence & Survival Skills

At this stage, we turn natural curiosity into safety. We use a gentle, encouraging approach to ensure your toddler feels secure in the water.

  • Key Milestones:

    • Safe entry and exit using the pool steps.

    • The "Turn and Reach" survival method (returning to the wall).

    • Blowing bubbles and comfortable breath control.

    • Developing "water smarts" and pool edge awareness.

Level 2: Preschool Mastery

Age Group: 3 – 5 Years Focus: Independence & Early Technique

As children grow, we move toward independent movement. We focus on building the strength and coordination needed to swim without aids.

  • Key Milestones:

    • Floating independently on front and back.

    • Mastering the "Rocket Ship" (streamline) body position.

    • Strong, consistent kicking from the hips.

    • Introduction to basic Freestyle arms and "big bubbles" breathing.

Level 3: School-Age Excellence

Age Group: 5+ Years Focus: Stroke Correction & Endurance

For older children, we refine their technique to make them efficient and powerful. This level is perfect for children preparing for school swimming carnivals.

  • Key Milestones:

    • Technical correction for Freestyle and Backstroke.

    • Introduction to Breaststroke and Butterfly movements.

    • Building endurance to swim multiple laps of your home pool.

    • Advanced skills: Treading water, dive starts, and tumble turns.
